    Delivery of Flowers

    Our core business is fresh flowers designs and flowers delivery in Kenya. Whenever you place an order on our website, the flowers can be delivered on the same day anywhere within Nairobi Metropolis and next day to other towns in Kenya. We have an option for customers to select desirable delivery date and time. Every effort is made to honour the client’s request but cannot commit 100% efficiency in the timing of delivery. Delivery of flowers outside Nairobi CBD (Central Business District) will incur an extra cost on the checkout.

    Same Day Delivery

    Same day delivery means that an order can be delivered on the same day that is placed on the website or through our customer support team. Same day delivery is only guaranteed for orders made before 2.00pm. NB: Same day delivery does not apply on special dates like mother’s day or Valentine’s day and different conditions may apply.

    Next Day or Scheduled Delivery

    Next day means that order received today are delivered on the next available day. You can also schedule when you want your delivery to be made upto 60days in the future.

    Cake Delivery

    You can order for a cake on our website to be delivered alone or with flowers. Cake order should be made 24 hours before the delivery day. This entails that we do not guarantee same day delivery of cakes. The cakes are baked with different ingredients and that can be allergic to some people. It is your responsibility to make sure you understand (and where you don’t understand, inquire first) before ordering the cake. Midasflowersdelivery.co.ke is not liable to any allergic as a result of eating the cakes.

    Delivery of Branded Products

    Branded products include chocolates, drinks, watches, message cards etc. These products are sourced directly from our suppliers and in case of faulty they have to be returned to the supplier. However, it is your sole responsibility to ensure they are not allergic to yourself or the recipient of the products.

    Customer and Recipient Mandatory Information for Delivery

    We will need valid contact information for you when you place your order so that we can communicate with you about your order. Please remember that we value your privacy and will never release, rent or sell your private information. For more information, please see our privacy policy. Your contact details will be captured as the billing information, while the recipient information while be captured on the shipping information. On the check-out process, you will need to provide us with the following information:
    • Your email address
    We use this information to provide a better customer experience by sending you order confirmations and delivery confirmations. We may also need to contact you in the event that there is a problem with your order. Please ensure that your email address is correct.
    • Your full name
    We will use this information when communicating with you.
    • Your phone number (add country code where possible)
    We use this information to contact you in the event of problems with the order such as payment failures or delivery issues. If your outside Kenya, we may WhatsApp to keep you posted on real time.
    • Recipient’s full name, address and contact numbers
    We will require this information in order to deliver the package you have ordered. It is important that the recipient’s address and contact numbers are correct. Failure to provide us with a valid delivery address and the correct recipient details may result in the order not being delivered and an additional delivery fee being charged for re-delivery to the correct address. Please check all spelling carefully as we may not be able to amend spelling errors (especially at busy times).

    Order Changes

    Order details changes are acceptable when made within reasonable time. Order changes is entertained with monetary adjustments if requested 24 hours before actual delivery dates and time. It should be noted that order changes are only acceptable to equal substitutes or products of higher value as no amount paid can be refunded. Address Change to the recipient location is acceptable and may incur additional cost in respect to location of delivery. Change of address is only possible before the flowers or gifts are dispatched.

    Rules for delivery

    • Delivery will be made as per the delivery either on the billing or shipping form. If recipient doesn’t accept the delivery, we shall consider the order to be delivered.
    • Midas Flowers Kenya will be able to attempt delivery of your order only ONCE. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, the customer shall still be charged for the order and has to pay for redelivery where deemed possible.

    We will consider the order executed in the below cases:

    1. Wrong shipping/delivery address.
    • Recipient not available.
    • Premises locked.
    • Wrong Mobile number or Extension number which may render us unable to reach the recipient for the delivery.
    • Recipient refusing to accept the delivery.
    • Delivered the product at the Gate/ Reception/ Neighbour.

    Delivery Charges

    Delivery to home or office has a service charge that is dependent on the area and distance from the Nairobi CBD. You will see delivery charges at the checkout page before placing an order. Delivery is categorized as Within Nairobi CBD, Nairobi and it Neighbourhoods Area, and other Towns in Kenya.

    Recipient Not Available

    In most cases we contact the recipient before dispatching the order. This means that the recipient is contacted while the package is ready and awaiting delivery. In some case, we dispatch the package without talking to the recipient especially when they don’t answer the phone call. Whenever the recipient is not available, we make delivery by leaving the package with a guardian or at the doorstep and such is considered a delivery. In the worst case we don’t get in touch with the recipient and the exact address, the package is returned to the office and delivery is considered done.

    Flowers and Gifts Availability and Substitution

    The images on the website are system generated and are meant for reference. Every effort is made to make the final product look like the system image. However, variation is expected as the floral arrangements are handmade.

    Variation might also be caused by substitution;

    Substitutions may be necessary to create your arrangement due to the season, and nature of fresh produce availability of certain flowers in the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and colour scheme of the arrangement by using flowers of equal value. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, every attempt will be made to match the flower type, but substitutes may be made with similar colours when necessary. While substitute items in a package ordered are very rare, the right is reserved to make these substitutions without notifying the customer, unless the substitutions are significant. All substitutions are of equal or greater value and look as similar as possible to the product displayed on the website. Effort will be made to contact the customer.

    Special Offers

    Midasflowersdelivery.co.ke may time to time run promotions and offer certain products at discounted prices. These offers are valid from the time that we introduce them to the end date of the offer only. Should you purchase a product in advance that is subsequently offered at a discounted rate over the delivery period of your purchase, the price of the product at the time of purchase shall ‘prevail’. We are unable to offer special offer discounts for purchases that have already been made. As our special offers depend on the availability of products, we may change the terms of special offers, or withdraw them altogether, at any time, and without prior notice.

    Gifts Delivery (Addons to Flowers)

    Anything ordered apart from flower arrangement is considered as an addon and is to be delivered together with flowers. These include vases, teddy bear, balloons, drinks, cakes, chocolates, watches, and fruits. We reserve the rights to deliver the item with change of wording or colour from the image displayed on the website depending on the availability. Whilst every effort is made to deliver exact wine as ordered, the company reserves the rights to deliver a similar wine in terms of favour, taste and cost in case of unavailability.

    Allergies

    Midasflowersdelivery.co.ke is not responsible or liable for any allergic reactions to any of the products purchased on our website.

    Payment Options

    All transactions on the midsflowersdelivery.co.ke website will be processed in Kenya. The Kenyan Shilling is the base currency. Payments are processed by third party company that has own terms and conditions for their system. This allows us to accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

    Late Deliveries

    Every effort is made to ensure on time delivery. In case of late deliveries going beyond 6 hours of the expected delivery time, a refund will be initiated. However, a late delivery as a result of factors beyond our control, there will be no refund.

    Legal Age

    You must be over 18 years of age to place an order for alcoholic products on the midasflowersdelivery.co.ke website. By placing an order, you confirm that you and/or the recipient of a gift containing alcohol are over the age of 18.

    Cancellation and Refund Policy

    Orders placed can be cancelled and refunded. When an order can be cancelled and refund done;
    1. An order can be cancelled 48 hours before it scheduled delivery time. For Same Day Deliveries or deliveries within 2-3 hours, order can be cancelled within 15 minutes after placing the order after which it not possible to cancel the order. In case of cancellation, there will be 7% service charge for refund.
    2. In the event of non-delivery of floral products on the selected delivery date that is due to our fault, we will either refund you in full or redeliver your order on a suitable date.
    3. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will refund you in full.
    4. In the event of damaged products being received, we will either refund you in full or redeliver a replacement for the damaged product(s). Note that it will be necessary to return the original product in order to receive the refund or get a replacement.
    5. If we send the wrong product, we will resend the correct product. Please note that it will be necessary to return the original (incorrect) product delivered.

    How to Cancel an Order

    Cancellation of order will be made with mail with Subject: ” Cancellation Request for Order#Number” and sent to email sales@midasflowersdelivery.co.ke. The E-mail shall contain following details: –
